Runs like crap after fill up.

Anyone notice there EVO running like crap after they fill up the Gas tank?

do you mean like rough idle or something? could the gas station you go to have put wrong octaine in wrong tank

it seems to me that after i fill the gas tank up it has a low idle and runs ruff it's an 05 and my co worker has an 05 also and he has the same problem every time we fill up it will do this my car is 5 weeks old and his is 9 months old and they both do it.

haha, yeah mine does that too, it idles a little rough, I tend to overfill it, I think it clogs up the fuel pump because there isn't enough o2 to allow proper exchange for the fuel to get pumped, hence the injectors aren't getting the right fuel combo from the fuel line and the roughness. . .it cracks me up because I KEEP on doing this, just stay stop filling once it clicks.

It has done it every time, and i have gone to many places and same thing.

I have an 05 and never noticed a difference, maybe because the guess adds weight you think it feels sluggish? Actually sometimes I think my car runs bad when its almost empty.... Make sure you "clicked" your gas cap when you closed it...
