engine shut down
i was wondering since i installed my intake, my car sometimes shuts down after a quickrelease of my foot on the gas. i know if you have a blow off valve, it would do the same thing but not stall your car, but the idle just drops. but since i had that intake my car suddenly shuts down and it happened twice already. any comments by the way, when it shut down one time i almost ran over another car since the steering got harder during making a right turn

what kind of intake you have? it could be messing with your MAF pipe. do you have it tuned? do you have any other mods other than the intake. cause if the intake is all you have then yes it's going to stall.

get a tune. flash that sucker. i think it's the combo of your BOV and intake. is your intake recirculating or VTA(vent to atmosphere)? i really think you need a flash though. jsut my .02

Make sure your BOV is recirculating, also the intake is really not need. You'd be better off leaving your stock air box and getting a K&N drop in filter..... If you are stuck on keeping the intake, then you are definitely going to need a tune.
