Car feels weaker

I've own my 04 evo rs for almost 3 month. After a month of owning it i started hearing a whinning noise. I took it to the dealer, it turns out to be a transfercase problem. They replace it and now it seems to be weaker. It might just be me but I think the bad transfer case might of gave me more power. But the car is quiet now.

Yep check for vac leak. My car feels weaker on different days

One definite cure would be to drive a civic for 1 week.

My tc was whinning at high pitch noise in 4th and 5th gear, around 50 to 65 mph, after that it would quiet down. After replacing it, seems like turbo isn't working as good as before, i am wondring if Mitsubishi didn't install it correctly. I'll check the vacum hoses later when i get off work and see if i can find anything.

Mistubishi diagnose it the first time i took it in, it took them like 2 weeks to order the tc because it was backordered. They said there was something in the tc that was broken and causing the noise, thye flushed it and didn't do much so they had to replace it.

Yes get a boost guage and looking at vac lines will not cut it. I suggest you do a boost leak test.
