Getting off stock bov?

Whats the easiest way to get off the stock bov? I got my aps bov, I know how to install it, but having trouble getting to the screws to loosin the clamps of the stock one..

Any help is appreaciated! Thanks!

Bov

Take off the stock plastic air dam, the inlet to the air intake, with the two plastic screws and it pops right off. That was enough room for me. I think I may have taken the fan off also for more room, but I can't remeber. Watch out the fan is sharp, it's pretty much a given you'll cut yourself on it. I did. Good luck, late.

take off IC piping, should be no sweat. dont be afraid to be rough with the hose, its pretty durable

You should be able to do the switch without removing anything. Just get whatever combination of tools you need in order to get to the clamps. You can use a screwdriver to get to them from a straight angle or use a 10mm socket to do it from a 90-degree angle. If there's no way you can get to the clamps with your tools, then remove whatever is in your way, beginning with the intake. It's a 5m job once you figure it out.

When its installed.. is the secondary, and primary ports supposed to be connected to hosing? Or only the primary...

Yes.. very nub question, but I just wanna make sure I have ti right, better safe than sorry (especially without directions).
