2002 Firehawk, SS, and WS6 will be VERY HARD races to win if both cars had good drivers. I would have to give the kill to the LS1's evos are fast but the VIII's (13.5) arent that fast. I have witnessed many LS1's bone stock dipping 12.9 stock (2002).

You say you've seen many bone stock ls1's run 12.9 stock, but I've never seen one. In fact, I see LS1s have trouble hitting 12.9 with exhaust and intake. I personally destroyed one by a full second even though he was on Drag Radials. Bad driver? Maybe, but that's far from witnessing "many" run 12.9 stock. That's a rarity, though possible...like it is on 05 Evos.

well why not the sti"? It really depends on the driver on that one, and i have raced a stock mid to late 90's NSX and for the money I would never buy something that I can beat with my stock 03 evo 8 for 80-90K

- All GTOs
- All 350Zs and G35s
- All SRT-4s
- All WRXs (not STi)
- All Boxsters
- All Hondas
- All Saturns
- All Acuras except the NSX
- All Toyota's
- All Lexii (haha)
- All Hemi-Dodges
There's many more, I'm sure
On the flipside, you will lose to many of those from a roll, which doesn't count, since that's not a form of racing I'm familiar with.

As for the NSX, who cares how much it costs? I'm just telling him cars that he can expect to beat from a dig in stock form. Since the NSX can run 13.0-13.1 stock, I consider it even like the STi.

The 03/04s were a little slower on average, but 05s run 13.0-13.1 pretty easily. My stock 13.1 was with an "improper" launch, too, because I didn't know about the 5k limiter. With a 1.7x like I always have done since disconnecting it, I would have been looking at a 13.0 or 12.9.

I belong to MFBA.ORG as well been to many meets and witnessed 4 hit 12.9 - 13.0. I'm just speaking in my area (chicago). Dont forget that the New mustangs as well been dipping 13.0-13.1 as well I wouldnt say many though. However, 2002 ls1's are the strongest running year of the fbody. I havent seen a EVO hit 13.1 yet bone stock hope this is possible with my car.
Your Evo can hit 13.0 stock if you're a great driver.
