You say you've seen many bone stock ls1's run 12.9 stock, but I've never seen one. In fact, I see LS1s have trouble hitting 12.9 with exhaust and intake. [/QUOTE]
Thats just crazy must not be a good driver. 2001-2002 fbodys will (manual) would hit that with just a exhaust cut-out and a Lid (CAI) its going lower. I added exhaust and lid to my car with a drag radial (nitto) 1.73 60' and hit a 13.2

Your Evo can hit 13.0 stock if you're a great driver.

Nice car but way too expensive for what is it .

the early nsxs were slow as dirt.. its only after i think 93 that they got teh 280+ hp motor. with a good launch the newish nsx would prolly beat an evo barely by pulling on teh top end. as far as any ls1 type car.. they only get the 12.9s with drag radials... so therefore they are not stock. 12s wont happen on stock tires.
you guys have forgotten the most important thing. the only thing that really matters is the driver.. ive seen evos running 15 second 1/4 miles and high 14s with a 2.3 60 foot. the 05s are easier to launch due to the 2 step limiter,(may not be the fastest way since it is only @ 5000 but at least its consistent) so if the guy has an 05 he will smash most anything off the line, rigth on up to the 1320.

Don't forget that people are putting LS1s in *******ed EVERYTHING these days. I think I even heard rumors of a LS1 WRX (I weep for the world). If someone rigged an LS1 into some lightweight car, then yeah, probably it could take an Evo. I think we should do less talking about the engine and more about what car it is in. An LS1 in a 2000 lb. car will run a lot faster than an LS1 in a 3000 lb. car.

Hey, There are quite a few 'stock' cars that you should look out for ... like 1997 McLaren F1 3.9 11.7 (MT Aug 2001), 2004 Porsche Turbo X50 3.7 11.86, 2005 Porsche 911 GT2 3.6 11.7 (MT Aug 2004), many Lamborghinis, etc
1993 Toyota Supra Turbo 4.9 13.4 will be a close call,
Check it out yourself at http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html

On the way to work today this PT cruiser smoked my ***... I dont know what the hell he done to it, but I never saw a car pass me so fast. I was accelerating through the gears at full boost just moving a long, and this guy comes up from behind and passed me, I don't know how he did it. I have always hate the PT loser, and now i hate it even more.
