No, I wouldn't normally tell you go get a mail-in flash first, because you will have to get reflashed for other mods later, but since you are short on cash, I made a suggestion. You have to compromise. If you do the mbc+gauge, then you'll make some extra power, but won't require a tune to make it work. You can then get a flash later for even more power.
Well thats the only reason I have been holding off on the flash. So.. I guess I am going to go the mbc + gauge route. Sounds like a good enough b-day present.. heh.

Thanks for teh help.

I have Megan DP and TP and have had no issues. If you are on a budget start from the back of the exhaust and work your way to the turbo. Megan TBE right now is like 550 shipped to your door, can't beat that.

sheet, if money is an issue a test pipe will give you a very nice gain even on the stock exhaust. safer than an mbc, better gas mileage and it sounds stock.

I have Vishnu 3" Standard DP w/ "highflow cat". A 3" Dp is a good size.

But if you're stressed on cash I'd go with a mail in flash. You'll be able to make more power and it'd be safe. You dont just want to "crank up boost." And if you're worried about havign to pay for more flashs for later mods, Vishnu offers free reflashing if you purchase the parts from us.

Ok, I just tested it today. I was surprised by the result. I lost about 20~25WHP !!!So, Here is an another example that having downpipe and HF doesn't really help if you have a stock catback.
