A DP&HFC won't make you lose power at all, no matter if you have the stock cat back. You not even dyno testing it. anyways if you want a DP&HFC there is only 5 words to know.......

You missed the point. He went from a TBE to just a dp/hfc, which means he REMOVED his cat-back and installed the stock cat-back, at which point he lost 20-25whp. Why did you say he isn't even dyno testing? He started by saying he thought he didn't lose power, then he came back and confirmed that he had in fact lost power, so I would assume that was because he dyno'd it.

I have the Injen downpipe and it fits very well. It comes close but does not touch the ACD. It clears both tie bars easily and is a full 3" polished stainless piece which looks great.

I have the DC stainless DP. Quaility is great, but didnt quite fit over the TC tight cause it was for an 03-04, so I had to give it a bit of the "hammer treatment" to avoid serious rattling.

rs*r 80 mm dp with catdelete ,kill 2 birds with one stone and can be had for about 270, thats with a cat delete folks, but must agree with warrtalon start with the catback makes no sense to have a big restriction downstream

sorry, didnt see that he had a full TBE before going to just a DP/HFC/stock cat-back. I said he didn't dyno test it cuz he posted that he's using a "logger" to test it, not a dyno. If he is using a dyno, then, of course I'm wrong (not scaried to amit when I'm wrong)

Haven't bought it yet but I will be going with the Turbo XS TBE which is full 3 inch exhaust. When I look for exhaust I'm looking for maxiumum power but also nice looks and I think this is a beautiful piece of work. The Buschur exhaust tip just doesnt cut it for me.....

Heres a sound clip from rallysportdirect.com
http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...devotxstbe.WMV
(Thats with test pipe, I'm probably gonna buy a HFC to stay legal)

The pictures cleary show the downpipe fitting on an 05 MR

I can get that piece for $250...but not having a cat in CA is way risky.

Tanabe, all the way. 70mm, stainless steel, good construction, PERFECT fit & great power.

You don't need any more than 70mm, or else you start losing efficiency. 70mm is efficient for most of us guys on the street. Shouldn't need anything bigger unless you're pushing major numbers. Building your exhaust isn't about getting the biggest diameter if you're still stock or just bolt ons.

Tanabe:

Won't break your bank either. Lots of awesome review on it, do a search

I haven't seen the Tanabe for less than $240...and even then I still have to buy a high-flow cat. Then again I could get the RS*R downpipe (which has no cat) for $250 and it would bolt right up to me RS*R cat-back exhaust. Choices.
