I have been thinking of a greddy profec b, apexi safc II, or something. Anyone have suggestions for the most bang for the buck?
I say you save up a few more bills, and buy some swaybars.

3" Megan or LPI TBE for $550-$600, a JDM MR DV for $110, and a Walbro 255lph fuel pump for $85. Unfortunately, you would need a reflash for the fuel pump, but you won't need a reflash for the exhaust and DV. Also, since the JDM MR DV is now standard on the IX, you could try to get one used off a IX owner who upgrades if you wait around. AFter this, you'll have all my mods already. =) You would then go with cams, LICP, alky injection, header, o2 (in that order).

Did you write this without reading the post directly above it? I answered your question before you asked it...

All the rest are much more expensive than the ones I mentioned. Perhaps you should clarify your question? You asked, "What's the best exhaust for the money?" What does "best" mean to you? Do you care about power, sound, weight, looks, or fitment? Of those 5 attributes, which are most important? What combination of those are most important? In terms of noise, do you prefer more or less? In terms of looks, do you prefer angled or straight, polished or dull, carbon or stainless steel, burnt tip or rolled tip or normal tip? Do you not care how much it costs as long as you get the extraneous, non-power-related qualities?

The answer I gave you is the cheapest 3" full TBE, it's angled, it makes the same power as the rest (it has no restrictions to power), it is polished from head to toe, it's stainless steel, it has a burnt tip, and it is fairly loud. The next in line after the Megan/LPI type is the Buschur for $750.
