exhaust
has anyone had a 3" exhaust made at a local shop? most places around here can bend pipe and weld any setup you want. i'm curious why i always read about people buying this stuff online when every town has a custom exhaust place.

Most muffler shops can make customs 3 inck exhausts but the following considerations must be made before using one of them
1. Do they use stainless steel or crappy metal?
2. Do they use mandrel bends as most quality aftermarket exhausts do or crush bends, which can hinder airflow
3. Will they warranty their work?
4. Will they remove the cat?

interesting thread, as i have been toying with the idea myself. only i have a few differences, i can get mandrel bent pipe, and the guy (a good freind of mine) will do it for cost. any other glitches i should worry about. i am not sure if he is able to bend the DP i am taking a buddies aftermarket one to him today, to see what he thinks, and i have a test pipe, that he said no problem to. the cat-back to a magnaflow cannister should be no problem. lemme know if theyre are other things i should be watching out for.

try Buschur, they seem to have the cheapest and lightest exhausts I've seen. Minimal bends, no resonator, and choices in mufflers. I doubt you could have a quality exhaust custom made cheaper than Buschur's. And they are proven for proper fitment.
