I doubt anyone is going to let an MR go for 35.5k OTD. They must be either killing you with an interest rate, or you are lying.

Which dealership is this? I'd like to verify your OTD price...

exactly. Like i've said in some other threads. My really good friend works at the dealer where i purchased mine and he said that he hasnt seen any dealers sell the new 9's for less than a couple(2-300) under MSRP. He can check every dealer in the US for prices so i doubt you are telling the truth.

There is alot of those type of posts going around. I've gotten up and walked out of a dealership and still I couldn't get a more common o5' GSR OTD for under 29.6K, so I don't believe all that crap that is posted.

Ha! Good ole' Stevens Creek is at it again. By the way, for those people that have hope in getting the price lower at Stevens Creek, don't count on it. I was talking to one of the salesman the last time I was there for some warranty work and he said the owner is out for vengence. He knows that they will be hot so he said he will not let it go for anything less than MSRP + Markup (about 5k Markup). Good thing I got my 05 for such a great deal.

If I ever buy another EVO/Mitsubishi again, it's going to be at SRM for sure.
+1

Chris O'Connell is the man. Best fleet manager I've ever worked with. Bought my '05 there too. Nothing but a positive experience.

BTW...check out the NorCal forum and/or that "blacklisted" dealer thread for Steven Creek Mitsubishi. One bad post doesn't mean they're neccesarily an evil dealer, but my experience with them was horrible - as were 3 or 4 others on the NorCal boards.

I don't get the big deal about MR. 5 grand more for 6 gears instead of 5, some vortex generators or whatever on the roof, and different (guessing better) suspension.

I'd rather pay 3 and get SSL on a IX

Well thats what the guy i deal with told me. He said he would let it go for 35.5 k otd. It was a quote; i did not say i bought it. HOWEVER, I bought brand new my 05 VIII non ssl for 26,500 OTD final price(paid 27k total at dealer and then got $500 check in the mail for my graduation this semester).

I actually paid cash for it because i was going to ship it overseas when i move from here in 5 months but they are trying to dick me on the import fees. I shipped my lexus and it was only 1.5%. They want 9.5% for this car!!! But the deal was so good i had to take it. And whoever wants to verify this with me that would be no problem.

understandable. I do not blame any of you for not believing me because i know the deal i got on my car it is nearly impossible. I have not seen or heard of anyone personally (maybe someones out there) that got a better deal than me. Like i said whoever is in the DC metro area and wants a IX for 30k OTD non-ssl, I will help you.

Care to share some details like salesperson's name and the which dealership it is? You can either PM me or just post here... it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
