GG is my favorite, but for 35K I just can't do it. I have to buy used my financial background won't allow me to take the depreciation hit. I might be buying a 05' with 10K miles for 23.75K a 05'!! I guess if your going to pay sticker it might as well be on a limited production run like the MR>

Prices

The prices were as follows:
$36,960 + $7,000 markup.
And of course the sales guy said they're willing to negotiate with the markup.

2005 was a one time production of 1000 MRs. Once they sold out, they were gone.
2006 will have a constant production through out the year. It will not be limited like the 2005 model run.

i dont see whats the hype. My dealer is ready to sell me their white evo IX mr for 35.5k otd. People you can get them cheaper than msrp if you show a little patience to the dealer otherwise they will take advantage of the fact they know you are gonna buy it anyhow.

If you're going to buy an EVO in the Bay Area, I highly recommend San Rafael Mitsubishi. No markups or hassle. Easy service. Talk to Chris, he can help you out. Snorre, the owner is great too. They also keep the EVOs in the showroom in the tuner shop next door. I bought my 05 there and have only great things to say about the entire SRM dealership. Screw the other dealerships in the area.. If I ever buy another EVO/Mitsubishi again, it's going to be at SRM for sure.

No hype, just letting everyone know how rediculous the dealer is acting about their MR stock. They offered me $24,900 trade in for my 2005 GG MR with 11,000 miles for a 2006 GG MR. KK Blue Book is $29,600. I think I'll be holding on to my 05 MR.
