how come our cars don't have cruise control and where can i get one?

when i bought the Evo I didnt know if it had cruise control or not. I didnt find out until someone mentioned it on evom. I really dont care if it came with it or not..even if it did I wouldnt be using it anyways. Cruise control feels good in my moms benz when slouched pack with one finger on the wheel in soft leather. I cant imagine using cruise control in my car with stiff suspension, bucket seats with a race car feel.... doesnt feel right imo.

yeah i would NEVER EVER use it.... i dont like cruise anyways....i drove to ny and back a few times in my ES with no cruise....ill be doing it in my evo sooner or later too

Yeah the Evo sucks for long drives. I was pissed driving to Gingerman for 3 hours wishing I had cruise control. Yeah $30K with no cruise, kinda blows.... BUT then I got to the track and drove around for about 5, 20 min sessions and I totally forgot how bad the drive was getting to the track... until I drove back home, tired and looking for a cruise control. 
Some people here need to chill the hell out. The evo is NOT perfect. Close enough though.

This just in ... The Z06, The Cobra, The SLK 500, and Porsche 91 are NOT real sports cars as they all have cruise control.
Anyway man, you can add cruise, I had the dealer add it to mine as a condition of sale. I dont buy if you dont install cruise. They installed cruise. Works great when I drive 15 hrs from SC to MASS.
Man - I just bought a new $28K car and it doesn't have a sunroof - wtf
