Regarding the Mustang... Did THEY (Motor Trend) test it at 13.4 (same day) or was that another test report to which you refer? If it's another (as I suspect), then thats ok as various conditions can change times.

haha.. yeah im impressed that they are so even now. I heard the 2006 stis have much sharper steering.. to bad the looks when to hell! Before I could justify not owning the suby for the steering.. now that they are just about equally im gonna have to stick with hideous looks excuse lol Id love to see some pics of the 06 sti with the T.k. bumper on though.

i always liked the STi, i almost bought one, the Evo just suited me better. but the '06...that looks like sh|T. what ere they thinking, if i were in the markett i would take the '05 2 years from now if there always going to look like the '06

Motor Trend must have some professional drivers getting those times. I've never seen any stock evo run that fast. For that matter, I've never seen any stock STi run that fast either. The fasted stock time I've ever witnessed for either car was a 13.6 from an 04 Evo.
I really like the new ST'I'. Suburu did a nice job on the update. I also like the IX, but the changes are less subtle than the Scoobie.
