Very True, I've seen Stock '05 and '06 owners putting down 13.0 -13.02's

Neck in neck in handling, I have driven an 05 MR and an 06 STi as well as 04 and 05 and they are very improved in the handling dept now, I don't think it can be a con of the STi vs. EVO thing anymore.

Mathematically speaking, that .4 second difference on their course would really start to add up after just a few laps. Would be nice to know if those numbers listed are averages of multiple runs, or one shot samples. Would also be nice to know who was driving which car, how much experience they had, and if the drivers switched cars, ran a few more runs, and still got the same numbers.

Give us more info if you have the article nearby!

its basically a pissing match. the numbers are so close it all comes down to the driver. i love how each year both cars get a little bit faster and handle a little bit better, keeps the other automaker on their toes and then we all end up winning. sweet deal

This post is good but I don't like it. (joke) ...(kinda).

Motor trend makes 3 passes and totals the three and estimate the most round number from the 3 to come up with the numbers on rear wheel and front wheel they will actually comphensate for wheel spin note;the 05 mustang is tested to run 13.4 but they run mid to low 14's
