I need help.. currently my turbo is working well below 4k.. it'll hit max boost then all of a sudden the evc tells me i overboosted to around 24.7 i usually hit 21.7 on the evc on the current set up... then after 4k.. no power at all.. its like my engine makes 10 hp and 3 tq after 4k in boost.. or maybe theres no boost.. but when i drive normaly up to 4k not under boost its okay

 

did you check your oil level? lol better question, do evos go into limp mode when there is little oil?

Any codes being thrown?
Boost leak, maybe you blew off a hose?
Vaccume leak, checl all fluids and hoses.

Any weird noises?

 

sounds like your overboosting and the car is going into limp mode, fuel cut, or whatever else it is. you say the evc told you that you were boosting to 24.7.. so what does your boost gauge say? if it also says 24.7 than i think you need to play with the evc to lower that boost.
