I've been really happy with my RS*R ExMag. Besides the conservative volume, it also fits like a glove and looks damn clean. The black powdercoat drew zero attention from my dealership. In fact the service manager asked if I was planning to do anything to the engine when I came to pick up the car after a 15k mile service.
Keep in mind that my RS has no sound deadening in the trunk or under the hood. It also has none of the insulated covering underneath the car. For an RS owner to say an exhaust is quiet means something.

No drone. I'm on the phone in the car all the time because of work. If it droned on the highway I wouldn't keep it. After 3K RPM's the exhuast starts really growling. I drive the car at 70-75mph on the freeway when I'm on the phone and it's the same noise level as stock.

Some of the JIC exhausts are not too bad...if the JIC Ti has the same overall design with resonators, it'll be fairly quiet. The Ti piping has thinner walls than a comparable SUS exhaust like the HKS. I had the Hi-Power on my car before switching to a Fujitsubo. Great sounding exhaust at WOT and it was not painfully loud, just too loud for me in a daily driven car. I've always liked the JIC stuff for it's quality build and light weight. I have a JIC Ti on my RX7. No real comparison to the Evo, but the build quality is very good on it.
