The lower wing doesn't have a hole in the center....it has 3m tape that is easy to remove.

I have both wings.....I use the large wing at high speed events but keep the small wing on for buzzing around town. MUCH LESS NEGATIVE ATTENTION with the smaller wing. Without a wing the car looks like a jetta.

Do you have any idea how many people aren't "in the know" about the big wing? honestly the big wing does look rice to the untrained eye. Whether its called a park bench, shark fine, or grocery cart doesn't matter. Only a very small amount of people realize that the wing is functional (for road racing) all the rest of them (police, hot chicks, ect) think you are some douche bag that riced out a sedan. The big wing also attracts the people that ARE "in the know" but unfortuneatly are HATERS. So you tend to get more vandalizm with the big wing shouting come key my expensive car.

Wingless looks clean but you cannot go back and fourth between wingless and winged. The only middle ground is the lower wing. I can tell you this, I get a great deal less maddog looks from "Johnny Lawman" with the lower wing.

Also...for drag racing the big wing actually slows you down. So for all you posers out there that have never had your car to a road race yet scream functionality you should probably reconsider why its even on your car.

word. i know the big wing may be functional, and is classic EVO, but it looks like complete rice to me. (just an opinion, i come from driving a camaro SS, and i just cant stand huge *** wings, especially on a small car). i sought a low wing car on purpose.

Hey all, I ressurected this post in order to ask a question...
I was hoping someone knew the name of the wing in that first picture. The white evo with the low profile wing with no center pillar.
Thanks

Ha, so many lame comments about the "optional" small wing. That wing was never an option it was standard on all '03 EVOs. Everyone who has the carbon fiber wing on an '03 paid extra for it. Check your window sticker. The lower wing also has a mounting hole for the center section. I know, I have one. Wow so much misinformation about the low profile wing.

I like that wing with that body kit. I do not know how it would look on our cars with just the Kaminari wing? It still looks better than the stock lancer wing IMO.
