I did not initially know the loyalty and grad cash were available and that sealed the deal for me. I am very impressed with this dealership and am hoping to help others get a similar deal from this dealership. I will know tomorrow when I pick up the car if everyhting is as stated. I have a signed contract so I am not anticipating anything different than I stated before. Thank you everyone for comments. I will post pics once I get the IX.

I bought the 03 EVO 8 used for $21,500 in July of this year. I guess I just bought it right. I thought I overpaid for it , actually. It is an 03 w/ no sunroof. It had 20,000 miles on it when I bought it and now has ~34,000 miles on it.

2. I owe $15,000 on my 2003 and am getting $20, 500 for trade.
I could probably get a bit more for it if I sold it outright, but I do get the tax credit if I trade it in which is worth roughly $1100 so I would have to sell my 03 for $21,600 to get the same deal after taxes on this 06. I just want to make sure its the right thing to do. I bought my 03 used in July for $21,500 w/ 20,000 miles on it. I do not plan to keep the car for 5 years, but figure since I am financing $22,000 I will never be upside down on it, so if I do need to sell it, I can.
Thanks everyone!

That trade is awesome. I have an '03 w/ sunroof and all mitsu interior accessories and 20000 miles and dealer won't offer me more than "fair" trade value at 18000. I would definitely take that deal.

The EVo is a regular evo ix no SSL package. I am going to miss the HIDs, but am getting the MIVEC, ACD, Limited slip and 30000 less miles. I'm sure some of you are getting this price already, but I was surprised considering most dealers I have talked to refuse to discount more than $500 of from sticker. Just wondering what you think.

location is what helps when negotiating.... out in milwaukee there's probably not that high of demand. I sold my other '05 to a guy from ND (on the boards now) and he is just about the only guy in the state to have one.
Good job on the dealing!

"When school ends, it doesn't mean the challenges end as well. That's why in addition to other great financing programs at the best available rates, Mitsubishi Motors is also offering grads and soon-to-be-grads an extra reward. An additional $500 rebate. Just fill out the fields below, and you'll be contacted by your local Dealer to see if you qualify for $500 off any new Mitsubishi vehicle (excluding Lancer Evolution), but just like classes end, so will this offer. This program lasts only until October 31, 2005. Important restrictions and rules apply. See your participating Dealer for program rules. "

The dealer can do what ever they want with the price with in reason. If they really need to sell cars ive seen them go a few grand under invoice. I picked my 05 up for around 25,500 after rebates. The taxes killed me for around 3300 which is how much I put down on the car. If the dealer sales a set number of cars 30+ then the owner gets a big fat bonus thats way more than that 2-3 grand he loses on some of the hard sales. One of the guys that also works here got a 06 GG MR for invoice, then got $1500 in rebates. If the dealer wants the sale and its the end of the month they will do it. Also always bypass the sales people and go to the GM or Sales Mnger. They will always be willing to make it work.

When will you stop being a dunce? Hopefully, the mods will see that you refuse to stop typing in all CAPS.
As for the X, no one knows when it will be released. Sitting around and NOT driving an Evo for a few years is not much fun. The differences between his 03 and a new IX will be significant, and this combination deal that he's getting is awesome.
