kissing the curb

well yep it happend to me, didnt think it would buy yea... was driving on the highway (was raining like no other, horrible visibility) took the exit should of slowed down more but didnt. Nailed the curb pretty good as you can see. Thank God for insurence and non of my 3 freinds in the car were hurt.

very glad no one was hurt.. How much in damage. Did they give you an estimate?

car is getting towed to the shop as we speak. will find out everything tommorow

Damn...thats a bit mor than a kiss, it pulled the axel apart. My guess is about 3500K on the bill. I know the control arm is around 375$ alone. Looks like there is some body damage, maybe a new strut, probably a new rim.New axel Not to mention labor. Maybe closer to 4k. Like you said: thank god for insurance and thankfully no one was hurt

MAke sure they replace every part in that side on the suspension. I wish you luck in them gettign it back to normal, I hit and curb and it took three trys with insurance to get it fixed right.

wow, u must've hit that curb pretty good..or just perfectly so that the control arm would come off like that..glad no one was hurt, and hope u get your evo back soon!

Wow, that looks like a hard hit! Glad everyone is ok.

Not to change the subject, but where are you guys still getting stock Advans??? If I'm not mistaken (I haven't seen one in awhile), those are stock advans you're driving on. I'd love another set if I could find them anywhere.
