0 to "top speed" times

Tried to think of a good way to search for this but failed.

are there any postings etc... of accurate times for "standing start to best top speed" of the Evo 03-04, 05, etc...?

I've seen 0-60, 0-100, various rolling start times, 1/8 and 1/4 mile, and 60 foot times, but can't find an all out "WOT till there's nothin' left" kind of run.

I think knowing the time and distance it takes to achieve it would be interesting.

thanks for any help!

It's not a realistic measurement. I don't think you'll find any statistics on such a thing.

Curious as to why do you say that?

It sure wouldn't be legal on the street, but I think it might provide some interesting data on the overall power configuration of the car. Engine output vs Gearing etc... , even areodynamic considerations.

Has anyone else come across this kind of info?

Thanks

I say that because of many factors:

1) The space required would be significant, it would need to be private, and the conditions would need to be perfect and repeatble (e.g. perfectly flat surface) and not available to hardly anyone.

2) Conditions that affect 0-60 and 0-100 would be multiplied greatly over the course of a 0-160mph run. Conditions such as the launch, shifting speed, shift points (rpm), wind speed and direction, altitude, temp, humidity, and octane. It would be difficult to keep all of these factors constant. I know that you can't keep them constant on 0-60 and 0-100 runs, but the effect on a 0-160 run is compounded to the point of providing large margins of error.
