I like the sound and the look of it. As far as a "Good Exhaust"...since it's got a resonated midpipe i bet you'll be losing some power over the straight units (buschur, lpi, etc). and it weighs a lot more than the Ti units, obviously.
i ended up getting mine for crazy cheap, off of a wrecked Evo, so i love it and haven't really looked back.
the sound is cool and like i said the look is great...if i was paying full price however, i think i might do more research into bang-fo-the-buck units (LPI, Megan, Bushcur)
that's my $.02

nah, you won't lose power (over the stock exhaust) but you should search for which exhaust gives the most gains...i'll bet that it's not the TXS...regardless, i really like the way it sounds and looks and you're going to live with it every day, it's all about personal preference....
and i bet you have pics, but here's some more

and the power gains (LPI, etc VS TurboXS) will probably be a small percentage overall, so if you really like the sound/look then go for it. like i said, i LOVE mine, but i'm not gonna claim it makes the most power or is the smartest buy...for me it worked out well.
good luck with your choice!!!

i know a lot of people like Megan and LPI, and i was just about to get the LPI for about $600 (turboback) before a sick deal on the TurboXS fell into my lap...
basically, for rolling around in the dirt at the junkyard and taking it off myself I got the catback, a turboXS BOV, Intake, highflow cat and stock parts (trunk carpet, floor mats) for $400.
i ended up selling some of the parts so that in the end i spent a little under $200 for the exhaust, intake and trunk carpet.
