need help asap with 05" defi control install ( yes i searched)
im in the middle of installing my defi control unit and im following the project evo install, but the 05 is different in 2 places . first is on the 12v power at the cig lighter.. its not the red wire down there anymore.. mitsu chasnged it to a brown wire.. figured that out, but now im trying to find the constant 12v source at the radio harness.. it says it is a black/w red stripe.. well thats not the case in the 05's. there is no such wire in the radio harness.. so what i need to know is what color did they change it to ?
all i need is the color of the constant 12v source in the radio harness.. and i left my power probe at work so thats not a option. please help asap. thanks!

It's more like a red and black wire...connected to the radio harness. I was looking for a mostly black wire w/ red, but to me it seemed more of a red w/ black .
All the same I guess, but nonetheless, the red & black wire is the only one of it's liking behind the radio harness.
Here's a question...how do u reset the memory on the Defi control unit/gauge??? The reason I ask is I want to know what I peaked at, as far as boost, "just for the day"....not from the last time I peaked at....I hope I'm making sense.
The only way I can think of is by disconnecting the battery terminal.
Anyone have a simpliar way?

You can take as many peak readings as you want.
There is a button that says peak reset.
I'm not sure what you mean by "just for the day."
If you want to know what your peak was for any given day - just reset it first thing in the morning. Your last peak boost will always be displayed.

for you guys trying to find constant power...how bout tapping into the ECU? If nothing else, the ecu is one thing that has to stay on while cranking. I believe it has 2 constant power leads going to it. Thats where I tapped into when running my electronic boost gauge.
