Hey, I"m Travis this is my first post. I sell Mitsubishi/Mazda in Phoenix. I noticed a lot of people talking about how hard it is to get a test drive. The reason is if we let everyone that wanted to drive the Evo drive, they would literally have thousands of miles on them. Same with the STI, what you need to do is bring in a bank statement showing your savings or checking balance and if it is enough to be considered for downpayment they will be much more inclined to let you drive. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY THE CAR FIRST! A lot of them tell you that you have to go thru fianance first, but thats a lie! You can even scan a statement and edit it on your computer and go test drive one I don't know about where you guys are, but here we have the Evo 9 and the MR editions. If you are in our area I'm at 999 W. Bell Road PHX I have more Evo's than anyone in the state. OH AND they won't budge on the price, if anything you'll only save $ on the addendum sticker, but forewarning, there is about $5-$7k markup in the EVO.

No B.S. I'm not here to sell people on the internet, I see the invoice when they unload them and I know because I make 25% commission and I get a fat check everytime I sell an Evo. If you are getting them priced lower than what someone posted above then they must be relying on volume or something, each dealer has different ways to do it. If it is priced like that, I'll bet you money that by the time you're done with the fine print and finance they will make that extra money off you. There are a lot of numbers that are thrown around to manipulate price that the consumer never sees, do don't belive it until you've bought it and it's in your driveway. I'm not arguing I'm just trying to do you a favor and let you know whats really going on here. It doesn't benefit me to lie to you.

dont know how long you been in the buisness, but anyone and i mean anyone who pays over MSRP is a fool....im a GSM at a dealer, are there cars that we mark up over sticker...YES...how about a 06 Z06 5 grand over aint crazy considering not every dealer is going to get one and the performance you get straight from the showroom is silly, but thats the price of admission and being exclusive.....the evo is a great car, but trying to get over sticker is foolish and not a good buisness move....and by the way if i have a deal that makes sense on an evo or anything else i can replace it with.....SOLD....next.....
