Get the new issue of EVO Magazine

Guys,
This is a U.K. magazine, probably the best automotive mag you can buy in the U.S.

The issue I am talking about has a long term review wrap-up of an Evo 8 MR FQ340. They put 15k hard miles on the car (wore out Advans in 4-5k miles, brakes in 15k miles), and loved every minute. The writer of the article compares the Evo to the 911/Caterham 7/Lotus Elise as a car that is unique to drive in this day of cookie cutter cars.

Also, they ran the car on the dyno, was way over the manufacturer rating in torque an HP.

They had nothing negative to say about the car except cost of ownership and cheapo dash. They did say that they couldn't find a better tire than the OEM Advans, and they tried 3 other brands in that 15k miles!

The magazine has a red Porsche Cayman on the cover. Get it, you wont be disappointed

Thats cool, but the UK gets a lot of things we don't. And the Evos are more expensive because of this.

EVO, Top Gear, and Car are both really good magazines from the UK. Max power is good if your looking for soft **** with a few cars and a lot of sh*t boxes mixed in.

I think they have the FQ280, FQ300, FQ320, and FQ400 (not sure if they have this anymore). The FQ400 was really impractical and had a lot of problems with it that the FQ320 didn't. Generally, the 320 is the best all around.

I am fairly certain that the mag "EVO" is not strictly about EVO's but just coincidentally named EVO. Cool that they have a good long term write up though.

Not an only Evo magazine it is all cars from Europe and the article is only about half a page long and not really worth the $9.99 cover price of the mag at Borders. I read it in the store.

Don't have the mag in front of me but I think HP was around 355, torque was around 345ft/lb (manufacturer rating 320ft/lb).
