ams does DOES[/B][B] NOT HAVE THE RECORD. ISP racing has the record at 842 whp. i think eveyone is forgetting about them

 

dyno numbers should be taken with a grain of salt, Boost Solutions made 1000 whp, and at best 12's on the track

 

I'm sorry, what did they run with that 842 whp? That's what I thought and that is exactly why these posts and claims are meaningless.

Nothing against ISP, I'm sure they are great and may one day soon have the fastest EVO, but whp claims are about as real as salaries people put on resumes.

BTW, AMS does have the record that counts.

Yeah but if they cant back it up with some results other than dyno (which has not been seen) then AMS is the leader with their 808. BTW they are deep into the 9's (9.4 last I heard)

You guys don't seem to understand that highest whp is meaningless. Anyone can claim anything and post a dyno sheet to match. Boost Solutions claimed to make over 1000 whp and maybe even posted a sheet back in the day, so there is your highest. Boost Solutions is the winner. No need to go on.

 

I heard of an 840whp Evo in the Dallas, TX area, but that's a rumor, and it might be using nitrous.

500whp is insane, imagine that extra 300whp?

 

Norris Designs out of the UK has already built a couple 840hp EVO 9's, like the green 2-door. I don't know if these #s are WHP or BHP, though.

I can change the correction factor, smoothing, and dyno it in 2wd mode and probably make over 900whp, but is it realistic? I don't know. Realistic as the track times behind it. Asking a question like who has the highest whp evo is a loaded question because there are so many variables, different testing methods, ect. If Boost Solutions claimed 1000whp then be it, just take all these HP claims with a grain salt.

Anyone can tune an evo to 500 hp then throw a high flow nos kit on and burn through the engine to get their big dick size quota of the day.
