BTW All:

I was just curious at the HP numbers that some people were putting down. I am well aware that Dyno Queens exist and that their performance in the real world does not compare to a car that is properly built and tuned for speed/longevity.

The reason for my curiosity is simply that I find it amazing that a 4 cylinder engine can produce such staggering horsepower and TQ numbers that the 4G63 does.

Some of you really need to chill out. If you have nothing better to do than hate on someone you don't even know then I feel sorry for you. Like I said before... I was only curious to see how much HP the Evos were putting down.

As for those who immediately assumed that they were much smarter than I simply because I asked the HP question; I will compare lists of achievements and academia anytime.

I have the record with 950awhp on a Mustang Dyno. I'll post the charts up later, and since track results are not required, then I won't bother backing up my numbers. I am the best. Nashville sucks. I know more academias than you.

[QUOTE=robertrinaustin]Nothing against ISP, I'm sure they are great and may one day soon have the fastest EVO, but whp claims are about as real as salaries people put on resumes.
[QUOTE]

Yea it's called magazine horsepower. Dyno #'s mean nothing. It's how the car runs at the track under "real world" driving conditions that counts most.

Why is Nitrous taken so badly on these sites? Most people will use it sooner or later. Its just another tool in the cheat... I dont see why everyone hates nitrous so much but Methonal is just fine. Look at most of the big DSM guys.... most use nitous. Would you guys call Sean Ivey up or John Shepherd or Sean Glazor or Jeff Hill cheaters? I agree that dyno numbers dont mean much if the car cant either use it to make a pass but since that was the question I think you got your answers My opinion is that once you get to the 800 mark... anything more is almost useless until you design the car to handle it and actually harness the power.

I know that there is some 1000WHP DSM's, but IDK, I really think that this car is wasted at 1000WHP unless you go Tube frame and THEN you may as well go DSM as you will make the same power for much cheaper.

Please, in the interest of sanity, please dont post your dyno numbers without doing 2 things...
1) Specify which Dyno (DynoDynamics, Dynojet, Mustang, Dynapak, etc)
2) Post your Dyno chart.

Hope this isnt a repost.
New issue of "Turbo And High Tech Performance" or something.....747 whp Evo.

RC Development's EVo is 930 at the crank, which should be around 750 at the wheels. There are more powerful cars than this one...
