I hear of Evos getting wrecked every so often also. Not just on here. I can see the Evo holding it's long term value very well, as well as being a highly sought after car even in it's older years.

Just because some little turd broke his PS2, doesn't really mean that everyone else's PS2 will go up in price like 20 years from now. There are just way too many.
By the way, doubleugly... you do realize you own an evo 8 (viii) right? On your profile it says evo vii.

Thanks for the catch on my profile, I'll have to change it.

Actually this thread is somewhat correct, that is one of the reasons why our car has the highest resale value of any used car. There were only 7000 '03s brought to the states, that is a rare car indeed!

I will tell you what a collectors Evo is. If you find, an Evo I, GSR or RS, unmodded, unscratched, not driven hard, has got less than 60k miles on it. All in the same car. I am telling you, that's much more different. 2500 were annouced, but they were sold out after 3 days, so Mitsubishi had to make another 2500. So 5000
Evo Is were built between 1992 and 1994. Some cars are in the UK, some in the Middle East and the other non-Japanese cars are rally cars. Roughly 500 Evo Is has made it to this day (at least in Japan), and there are maybe 50 perfect ones. There are almost no Is in the US, and it will cost 10k dollars extra to import there. Here you go. The collectors Evo is hell not a VIII/IX MR. They are regular cars compared to the I.
