03 w/alky dyno'd 350/350, then trapped 114.8mph
03 w/alky, cams, and AEM EMS dyno'd 400 and trapped 119.5mph
Jose Rivera (down your way) dyno'd 373 and trapped 116.7mph
Here are my combinations:
248whp = 104mph
282whp = 107.5mph
294whp = 108.5mph
All figures are on Dynojets.

ok well Scott from TTP-Engineering trapped I believe 115.5 or so and he dyno'd at ~ 410whp..
also ct9a gsr who dynod at 390 whp trapped 118 and I believe this was a mustang dyno.
so if this guy is trapping 121 id imagine he is 450 whp+ on a dynojet.
I mean we can argue forever on guesstimting what he could make using several different examples, but in the end lets just agree that 121 is a nice trap lol

He has the stock clutch also which makes him take it easy out of the hole. This makes for less "useable" power when you cant go WOT until after the clutch is engaged. The average HP on the run is lower because the RPM's are lower when you baby the launch.
Also Wartalon, you are comparing a 5 speed car with different gearing to your 6 speed car. That adds a little bit to the equation as well. Shifing speed also plays a part in the trap speed as well. I know his car is not shifting very well right now either.
One other thing, he is running out of gear in 4th gear at his 7850 redline, because he is using 225/45/17 tires. They are slightly smalled diameter than the stock size.
I am 90% sure that this dyno is roughly 9 to 10% lower than the dynojet at Topspeed. Reason being there was a car tuned at topspeed that made 42x whp there. It only made 381 whp on this Mustang dyno. Same exact tune, same boost, etc. etc. There is also another car that dynoed at both and it showed similiarly as well.
This mustang definitely doesnt read like Buschurs however.
I am fairly certain his car would be in the 480 to 490 whp range on a dynojet.

Anyway, as Brian said, there are previously unknown limitations here that are affecting the trap speed by 7-8mph: improper clutch and improper rev limit for such a huge setup. When he gets a proper clutch and raises the rev limit to 8200, then we'll see even more MPH probably...

Mustang dyno's are great tuning tools but are pretty useless when trying to compare hp number to track times as they never are correct, as the dyno shop can manipulate the numbers to read really high or low.
Edit: don't forget that we aren't just talking about peak hp numbers... anytime you install a larger turbo the peak numbers may remain the same but the hp curves don't drop down as far.. leaving more power in the upper rpms which helps run faster times.
