Anyone with an Innovative XD-1?

I want to know where other people installed their Innovative XD-1 Wideband, I just bought one but dont know where to install it. Any pics? Does it fits on every pod?

I have been trying to get one of those Craig Hardy 52mm triple panels, but no one seems to have it on stock. Gruppe-S has it on their website but they say they wont sell it anymore, they will only sell the 60mm. Where I can buy it? It will fit on that one? Or what about the 42 Draft Design Triple Gauge Panel?

Too many questions! But, any info on XD-1 Placement ideas and fitment on different kind of pods will be very helpful! Thanks...

IMO the steering column is the best place to put an A/F meter. It's right where you need it so you can always keep an eye on you A/F ratio. I have installed 2 (on seperate cars) and this is where i put them both.

Please guys, post some pics! I want to see how it looks on different places with differnt setups. I am still waiting for my XD-1, I should receive it on Tuesday.

I already have an autometer dual steering column gauge pod with two Defi's. Thats why I was thinking of moving all three with the Craig Hardy panel or the one from 42 Draft Design. I dont like anything on my A-pillar, I prefer the steering column or dash.

the52mm pod I have works good for the XD-1 because its slim and its just a ring shape clamp which you can mount it anywhere you want which also tilts. I got the pod for 3 bucks at some car store. The 3rd pic is the same view how I see the gauge when driving...I personally dont like guages covering the dash. Only one screw is holding the pod to the panel and its not really visible unless you look at it from the drivers door but not when in the seating position.

Hers's mine:

All that it covers is the seatbelt and door open lights and the Lancer logo. Nothing important!

Thanks for the pictures guys! I like Derek888 setup!

I just ordered one of the 42 draft designs triple gauge panels, Ill post pictures on how it looks and if it fits, I plan to put the XD-1 in the middle and the two Defis on both sides, if later I buy another Defi for the middle I plan to do something like Derek888, but it should look great anyway, that XD-1 looks amazing, Thanks again...

Mine is in the same spot as Derek888, but I am moving mine up to a pillar gauge holder whenever I get one.

Here's my whole engine monitoring setup:

I don't like A-pillar pods nor steering column pods, and I already had my leftover radio location filled up with the ECU monitor seen below, and while I have been throwing around the idea of creating a dash mounted pod with another comapny, I've mounted it as shown below with velcro for the time being. Works perfectly.

The ECU monitor reads and displays all of the following in real time:

Boost Pressure
Oil Pressure
Oil Temp.
Water Temp.
Inlet Temp.
Engine RPM
Vehicle Speed
Battery Voltage
Air/Fuel Ratio

(some extra sensors required)

Other functions:

Water Injection
Shift Light
Read Fault Codes
Clear Fault Codes

I used to have a unit mounted down in the lower dash cubby, but I sold it and put a new unit in the radio location.
