I cant believe you guys are getting over 10k miles on the advans. You all do know this is a spectacular performance vehicle and should be pushed to the limit as often as possible, right?

So if the tires last longer than 10K it's because they're not pushed? Could be.

I drive the car bout as hard as anyone can off the track short of daily 4 wheel drifts. I'm not sure why the Advans have survived this long. I wonder if it's the mild weather here and the majority of roads being asphalt rather than concrete.

Is that your car in your avatar? Drifting will wear any tire out very quickly, especially soft tires like the Advans. Without track driving or abuse, they should last at least 10k I would think, considering the Bridgestone S-02's on the rear of the old S2000's would last that long, and they have a lower treadwear rating.

I drive my car pretty hard but I don't track it. My Yokohomas look pretty close to new. I have about 6000 miles on them.
