The Nerve of these Dealers

I went to my local Dealer to look at the new XI they were asking 40,000 for and MR. I asked to see the invoice on it and they paid 34,700 for the car. Plus they will not let you even test drive the car. They had one 05 left on there lot and want 36,000 for it I again asked to see invoice on it and they had that at 32,100. asked them how much I could get for my 03 and they told me 20,000. Thanks but not thanks. I guess I will have to look out of town.

Turn around and run from that place. Never go back! If we quit buying from dealorships like that they will eventually be forced to sell at the proper price.

As much as I'm against it, you know if there were 2 dealerships, one who lets you test drive their cars and get a real feel of how the car performs and another dealership who doesn't let anyone test drive the cars. You'll go to a dealer that will let you test drive the car and go to the other dealership that doesn't allow test drives to buy the car.

I don't know about getting an IX for 500 over invoice but here in the midwest you can get them for sticker at most of the dealerships

not letting you test drive is for a good reason, and all dealers mark em up, just negotiate with them and u get lower then MSRP usually, u just have to be serious and read to buy that day and stuff

you think mitsu would stop here then drop off the cars / aftermarket parts, but no.. it goes to cali first then double back to hawaii + extra shipping cost
