I really like my '03. I drove my buddies 05 and it does feel a little stronger stock but at least mine has a sunroof and HID's without having to pay extra. Plus I owe less then 5,000 on my car. No problems, I replaced my clutch at 20k and I really didn't have too, the stock one was still good, but my power was getting a little to much for it IMO.

I don't think anyone will argue that as the years went along, the car got better. That is pretty simple to firgue out. The true question is what is the best VALUE (current market price added into the equation).

05's, Limited front slip, 10.5 housing, and teflon shifter cable linkage (smoother shifting, I have driven 05s and boy much smoother then MY03 was.) IMHO

dont the 05's have the rev limiter during launch? I guess you can just get rid of it by a reflash though?

yes they do, but you cant remove them by a flash. There is a Switch though, above the clutch pedal you can unplug to get that 7k drop

Al figured this out in his DynoFlash and can do it now.

No, 05's have more agressive ecu map and 10.5 hotside. It is known consensus they make more power in stock form, therefore faster. They have alky kits for the 05's too, they go in the trunk behind that panel, even more sleeper.

05 FTW!

I see that some posts were deleted in this thread. Stock 04's do not come with HIDs, unless you upgrade and pay more.

That is not true. Unless you own an '04 RS, the rest have HID's, regardless if they have the SSL package or not.
