The evo has always had the large wing, it's a trademark item for it. It's part of the heritage. That's why I would never remove it.

well mine is gone and I like it more,,,,,, much more!
I dont have the feeling of being a 20 yr. old ricer,,,, Like somone said, the performance of the car will speak for itself, I personally dont need a huge wing, that everyone has.

Maybe those who really think huge wings are the way to go, you better tell the c5 guys, bmw, lexus, mercedes, audi, and several highly modded wrx's, (in sport car magazines) they are missing out and totally wrecked the looks and "performance" of there cars by not having a big *** wing. But then again Im not bashing the big wing, Im just saying its not my cup of soup. And if look around you wont see 100% of the people wanting it, no wing is just as nice.

A body shop said $400 to fill the holes (weld metal in there) and paint. Other wise he said we can use 3m tape. Im leaning towards getting them filled and painted.

To each their own,,,,,,
ps, do you have to start a new thread to post more pictures?
I dont see any browse tabs at the bottom of this page?
Thanks

Here's the GTA. Clearly, a much more attractive package than the EVO. I don't want to hear anyone say the hood vents are necessary anymore because they don't know what they are talking about.

$1100?! What are you doing, adding a mark-up? I thought it was only a $480 option.

Alright, i'm adding you to the boycott list... just kidding!

If I were you, I would keep it. Unless you weld up the holes in the trunklid, it'll make selling the car a lot easier in the future.

I'm totally in agreement with you! Good grief guys, who cares what anybody thinks? I'm pushing 60 and I'm keeping my freaking big wing Hell, that's a big part of the car's image. I guess driving slowly wont hurt me either. I have too many tickets already

The wing stays on.... (for now)

The hood vents are not on the GT-A because the engine has been detuned to about 240hp for the Euro-spec.
