Question HOW GOOD IS STOCK Recirc Valve

COULDNT FIND THIS ANYWHERE WHEN I SEARCHED?

JUST WONDERING FROM OTHER SOURCES HOW GOOD THE STOCK VALVE WAS BEFORE IT STARTS LEAKING? SHOULD ONLY BE RUNNING 21.5 PSI
DO I REALLY HAVE TO BUT A FORGE RECIRC TO HOLD BOOST!!!!!

mine leaked starting at 5 or 6 psi so i bought a forge and can hold boost at 22 psi without taper now. before it would hit 21 and taper a bit to 19.5 or so. I would rec at least a jdm BOV, a forge isnt really necessary, but i dont want to ever spend $ on a BOV again so the forge will be the last. JDM is good to 25 psi or so.

anyways, The stock 06 EvoIX bov is metal unlike the 03-04 ones so they should hold a bit better than the plastic ones. I would recommend the APS bov, if you wanted you upgrade... your money... your choice!

No, you're talking about the 06 Evo IX. It already has the JDM MR DV, but the 05s have the original plastic POS.

in a 1 word.....yes unfortunatly mistu made the same mistake they did on the g2 talons by making it plastic. sorry for the bad news
