Premium Package Sub size?

im looking for an alternative sub because the sub that came with my premium package just isn't good enough for me now..i don't want to do an custom install or get bigger subs because that'll just add weight...

i was told by some that the evo have 8 inch sub and some say its 10 inch...
which one is it?

and does anyone know an good alternative sub that will fit in the premium sub box?

I was trying to do the same thing a couple of months ago, and found out that the SSL sub is 8", and the enclosure is only 3" deep. In other words, it's almost impossible to fit an aftermarket sub in the stock enclosure.
