Clear Door Protection?
I saw a listing for a factory 'clear door protection' on a vendor web site, and was wondering if people knew more about it. It's supposedly something that came on the door jambs of 04 and later cars as weather/rust protection. Anyone know more about it? Where does it go on the car?

This looks like one of the must-do upgrades if you've got an '03.

link's been in the How-To's forever, just hard to pick it up on keyword search.
But, I've waited too long to install mine and i have to live with those chips now.

They sell touch up paint markers that makes fixing paint chips a breeze. I clean the chip, use their primer/paint/clear pens, and it looks fine. If you want a concours-quality fix, check out this site:

I don't care _that_ much about chips.
