why doesn't this buy just drive the BMW to a mitsu dealer and do an even trade for a brand new evo??? what's his desire to get a used evo when he can get a new one for almost free.

I voted for the EVO. Dont get me wrong, I love the M3's. I have driven a couple and they really are very NICE cars. BUT, I wouldn't TRADE my EVO for one. I would have to keep the EVO and also have the M3. But I'm poor some that's not happening. The EVO is just that good, trust me

Status seeking is ghetto and in most cases will betray you. I admire people who can afford 911 turbos, but avoid them as they attract attention and are all to often a statement of wealth and status more than a statment of appretiation of fine engineering and autosport.
They are both drivers cars but the M3 has the rich boy bling issue some see as a plus, others a turn off.

Thanks for all the feedback!
I decided to not trade for the M3. It's a sweet car but I think I'll have a lot more fun with the Evo. I drove the M3 and it was not as strong as my car. We both fooled around on the freeway. The M3 is pretty fast on the freeway but I was a little faster but it was pretty close. I found the insurance to be a little more on the M3. About $17 more over 6 months which isn't much. Anyway thank for the feedback.
