All those scam dealers who were trying to sell the cars at $5,000.00 over list keep calling me and calling me the past few days - "Got the evo's here at msrp. . . come in and get one" - - well sorry guys I already bought my Evo - - thanks for trying to rip me off when I was trying to put down a depoist

Now that the Evo's are comming out all the dealers are panicking and trying to dump them at msrp - - - very soon i predict we will see the fisrt few sales below msrp

Please - don't pay over sticker unless they have the exact color you want and you feel like spending a few extra $$$ to just get teh car quicker - - - but paying like $5,000 over is just insane

 

There have already been 2 reports of below MSRP Evo Sales on this board. I was one of em.

But I know what you mean about the dealerships panicking. They thought for sure we would all be willing to buy at $5k over....huhu.... Guess they didn't read what us enthusiasts were saying about that 3 months ago!

Dealers were shooting themselves in the foot, with that over MSRP idea.....

I don't know about below MSRP.. But you'll certainly get your car at MSRP if you have patience..

 

i was extremely disappointed when i was promised MSRP and now mark up multiple times, but when i come back, they tell me there is a 2995 'rally package' added to every EVO, wheel locks, cargo net, window visors, and brake disc covers? for 3k?

i am disappointed

 

amen brother. Serves them right for being greedy. I hope they have to sell them below MSRP as I haven't bought mine yet.

 

are dealers getting more than expected. The mitsu dealer I have here said they were only supposed to get one and they got three

I think some of the Dealers that might have been shorted, are discovering their getting a few more cars.. and some dealers who were expecting quite a few, aren't getting as many.. In general, the better the reputation of the dealer from a customer satisfaction standpoint, the more cars they seem to get.. There is one dealer I heard about who got 8 cars, and their NOT very good dealers, NOT very ethical, and NOT very good to their customers.. So I'm not sure how they swung it.
