Looking to join the experience, finally!
After months of reading magazines, forums (evolutionm, iwsti, nasioc), and talking with owners I've finally made my mind. An Evolution IX it is for me. 
. Just not quite sure if I should get the GSR or MR yet. Hopefully, when I actually see/drive either one that may finalize the deal.
With that said, I need a little bit of help. I've searched Mitsubishi's website and linked to local dealers, but I'm having a hard time finding inventory. Most dealerships don't have websites, and those that do, don't have access to inventory.
Is there some way to find out what dealerships have 06 EVO's in stock?

I went to one dealership that has a black GSR. 1k mark-up. Don't really want a black one. I asked them if they would do an inventory search for a white one. This is what they told me, "It will be more than this black one we have in stock". Another smaller dealership didn't even know what the "EVO 9" was. Not too crazy about Mitsubishi dealerships. I want to do as much as I can before going in there. Already approved for a loan from my credit union.

Mark's been helping me and offered a great price on an 06 EVO. Much better than my local dealerships.
Unlike the salespersons at my area local dealerships, he's very professional and helpful. If he wasn't over 1000 miles away, I'd be buying it from him. Why not transfer up here. 
Makes me feel better about buying the car. The last two sales people I've dealt with made me very frustrated!
Good to see there are some people out there still willing to help. If you're in his area don't hesitate to contact him. You'll be very happy with his price and professionalism.

If any of you need any a list of EVO's currently available in your state, let me know! Pm me! Hell maybe Ill just start a thread and go state by state... I wonder if that would tick off any other dealership on here though. I know there is one or two other paying vendors...

all the dealer have more MR's than Evo IX's. It just an ordering trend that was set last year. Last year there were only 1000 to be made and a higher demand for them. So far this year most people want the IX but don't want to send the money for the MR. but I do have to say the MR is much nicer.
Last year the dealers were screaming and fight for MR's. Now many can't sell them.

i was just wondering why people don't just wait for the color of their choice (albeit it be 2-3 months....) instead of waiting for things to appear at the lots? that is... if you have the patience to wait
