Are there differences between gas stations 93 Octanes?
With all the different gas stations does one offer a "better" 93 than others. I will go to Sunoco around here and put in 94

Gas is Gas.
The only difference between the companies is the different additives that they add to the gasoline. As for me, I put whatever is the cheapest. The only way to find out if the gas is different between companies is with an Exhaust Gas Temp gauge.
What I found out is that the gasolines are basically the same. No one company led to an increase in EGTs. Therefore I did not have an increase or decrease in power between different stations.
Octane changes will increase EGT's though. I put some Unocal 100 unleaded and noticed that I could boost an extra 2 psi before the EGT went past 850C. With the 114 leaded octane I can boost to 25 psi without a problem.
Get the EGT and do your own research.

I know Chicago has **** gas compared to Michigan. Not the same octane or additives or something. My bro-in-law's wrx will detect knock when using gas from chicago. He'd then have to lower boost. Gas is very important on turbo charged cars running 18.5 psi's. Sunoco 94 from Michigan works well. Go to the local drag strip and ask around. Most of them know which brand is the best in the area.

I personnally don't know.. But my father owns a japanese auto repair shop.. All the techs that work there tell me that AMOCO has the cleanest burning gas ..?!! So I usually go there...

I personally use only AMOCO 93, a habit passed down from my father who would beat me during my teenage years if I filled one of his cars up with anything else. Even when BP bought them out/merged with them, they decided it was best to keep the name there, even if they share their sources. Unless you believe in the additives like Chevron's Techron or Texaco's Havoline that are supposed to help keep your injectors clean, then I guess it is pretty much the same.
All of the companies use additives to raise the gas to the specific octane levels. Perhaps some are better/more consistent then others.
