gas guage slowly dying?
Lately, my gas guage will read empty when I start the car and take a few minute to actually read what I think is correct. It is really anoying on the last 1/4 of a tank as the idiot light stays on for a few minutes. I hate to take my car in and wanted to know if this is a comon problem. If it's the in tank assembly, should I remove my walbro pump before taking the car in (if they have to replace the whole unit, I dont wnat to loose my walbro pump). Thanks for the advice.

It happend to me in my 03 evo also .. It turned out to be a wire that was not pluged in completely just take it back to hum ever you had the pump installed at and tell them to check it.

Gas guage
I replaced the pump about a year ago. It seems unlikely the pump change and the guage readings are related. I think a floater is broken and barely floating.
