yo dawgs.. i had that gap fo shizzle and i just threw an o rizing at that gap and snap no gap oh yeah my antenna is for an S2000

Thanks all! Welll the concensus seems to be "some gap" "some no gap"
So I'm just gonna file/dremel a little of the screw and yes take of the "dinky" perrin sticker as one member put it!

well either the oring i put on my antenna couldn't handle 120 or somebody stole it... i thought it was on pretty tight.. but i don't see why someone would take.. or even notice the o ring..

I had the gap also on my antenna for my 2005 GSR.
I ended up using a bolt cutter to take off about 1/8" and then used a file to ground/smooth it out. I then used some loctite around the thread and screwed it on.
Fits perfect now!

Sorry for the bad pic, It's late and I just wanted to show you guys mine.
It's not really that bad of a gap. Hell, I don't even notice it. I might try that O-Ring suggestion now.
