there is a machine shop just down the street from me (jackson auto machine) that build 4g63 motors. should i build my motor up to a 2.3 or buy a turbo kit

 

What mods do you already have? Changing the turbo or a stroker kit are LAST mods, not FIRST mods. You should have cams, intercooler, fuel pump, fuel injectors, boost controller, tuning (a/f ratio managemet), intake, exhaust, downpipe and cats. If you have all that, your question should be considered. If not, well, don't put the cart before the horse.
