That is an in-cockpit controller. You didn't ask for that. Most of us just have the regular one mounted in the engine bay. What you need to ask for is where people mounted the Hallman in-cockpit MBC.

I have a Greddy Profec B, and it's attached to the top of the steering column with double-stick 3M tape. No pics yet.

mbc

I think this is the most common mounting place for an MBC, although its not an in-cockpit model, for the most part MBC will be in this general area. Sorry for the crappy pic.

i'm at work and the evo's at home, so i can't get you a pic just now, but i can tell you where it is...

i have it zip-tied to a bracket (not sure what bracket, may be a bracket holding the radiator fan on) under the stock air box inlet scoop...that way it's hidden out of sight and won't get messed with for no reason, but IF i need to adjust it (i never do) all i have to do is pop the inlet out.

This is also where I have mine. I love it there, because it's mostly-hidden by the stock intake snorkel, and mine is blac, so it blends in with its surroundings. if not for the white writing on the knob, it would be completely unnoticeable. In fact, even Evo owners have a hard time noticing it when I open my hood and challenge them to find any aftermarket parts. The only thing in my engine bay is the BOV and MBC, so most usually don't find anything.

Sounds to me like he's still trying to decide what to buy, so I figured he might want to look at some options. It ain't like my few words are likely to ruin the guy's day, so don't make such a big deal out of it.
