ok $30,000 (05' evo) vs $300,000 (89' f40)

evo all the way......well i guess if you had $300,000 you didn't know what to do with then the f40's it

ps. i bet 1/2 the evo's on this forum could waste an f40, with some sus. mods and a lil motor work, hell ya they only go 0-60 in 4.5 sec. watch the Top Gear when jeremy clarkson is up the @$$ of that lambo.

no dought the f40 would get more looks and im not saying that they dont run amazing, just saying don't dought the evo.

Wow... and the F40 is a car that is not known for good handling at all, and being very, very hard to control in turns. Hmmm... I just think of the video of the FQ400 keeping up with the Lambo... I'd put my on an Evo.

I realized the Evo is one awesome car.

FYI, If you look at the TG test track times, the Murchielago is a little faster around the test track than that FQ400.

I did not say the FQ400 was faster although I would bet my money it would take an F40. The F40 has killer straight line performance although has poor handling. Poor compaired to modern supercars, etc. anyway.

i realized that other car companies like to rip off consumers with highly over priced, poor performing automobiles.

i also realized that even people who don't know what the evo is like the car, and love to stare and go "wow that is nice what IS that?"

well i've only driven an 05 evo VIII once (and i still thank the dude every single day lol), and what i realized is.....my teg is too slow. i realize that driving a car without turbo and awd and great balance and 4 doors/5 seats just won't cut it for me anymore. so instead of modding the **** outta my teg, now i'm just going to upgrade to an Evo IX much much better platform to start with if u ask me

This is very true.

These cars are nearly 12 second grocery getters right off the showroom floor. Getting more out of them takes so little energy that its almost too easy.

I'm not sure what I would replace it with.....STI or COBRA are about my only choices.

NEEDING a 12 second w/warranty under 30k replacment would be hard to find.

I'm pretty sure I'll be trading my 8 in on a 10. I hope the ten is done right.
