Best 10 second mods

As far as I can tell from reading these threads the top two "10" second -No Brainer-mods are the the MR Blow Off Valve and the Works Drop In ...Any others ?

And remember I'm talking "fast" -as in quick to accomplish- mods here.

Maybe you need a "," comma in your thread title.... because its going to take a lot more than an airfilter and blow off valve to run 10's lol.

boost controller will take you about as long as the MR BoV.....by why go by what speed it takes you to install these mods?

Be smart about your modding, trust me. If you're inpatient, order your stuff and then make yourself one of those cardomain.com kinda websites and you can post pictures of your car and add "MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD" going in next week into your website.

Then you'll feel all accomplished and what not.

Moral of the story, mod smart.

Drop-in, MR BoV, 3in exhaust, MBC, and a flash, won't even feel like the same car.

Yes, I understand and agree with what you are saying but it seems that there are a few basic, inexpensive and quick mods which a majority of folks hear seem to agree on such as:

MR Blow Off
Works Drop In
Walbro Fuel Pump
A (Co.?) Boost Controller
And some others ??

Than after all these Quick and simple to install mods are fitted, I'll take my time and possibly continue with the more involving mods.

You don't need a fuel pump to run an upgraded air filter, and as long as you don't go crazy with the boost pressure, you're probably safe with that as well.

Full exhaust and an intake and you will probably want to think about getting a fuel pump just to be on the safe side.

Edit: BTW I would upgrade to the MR BoV AFTER the exhaust, intake, and flash. On stock boost pressures with a basically stock car the MR BoV is a waste of money.

just for the record people, 10 sec install time, not 1/4 mile time.

Boost gauge isn't too timely, once you get trough the fire wall

ya they do, how they work is, when the turbo is spooled up and your making boost, and you take your foot off the gas and the throttle body closes. All the air that is on its way into the motor gets "pilled up" at the throttle body. If the bov wasen't between the turbo and the throttle body what happens is the force of the air has to vent somewhere and it would try to go backwords through the turbo and out the air filter, and it will try to spin the compressor wheel in the turbo backwords. this is called compressor surge (thats bad). the bov opens from the pressure of the boost (compressed air) and vents the air out into the atmosphere or into the intake pipe before the turbo, ya it makes a cool sound then it opens but is saves turbos.

ps: theres no such thing as a stupid question, if you dont know, ask thats how you learn
