Balky gearshift

It's my first winter with an evo and it has been really cold in the northeast these past days and my gearshift has been hell to get into gear first thing in the morning. I usually have to shift from third to fourth ten times to get it running normal. Or run it through all the gears. Is this normal? Anyone living in cold climates finding the same thing or if it is not does anyone know what might ve suspect?

bump- most people will say its the tranny fluid. have you replaced it yet? how many miles do you have? mine does it too. i have about 23000 miles and have not changed it yet but will soon. after 15-20 warmup its usually not an issue.

^^^ditto. Since it has gotten cold here in the Northwest I've had those issues every once in awhile but they usually go away after the car is warmed up.
