When ever people ask if i want to race them from a roll, i usualy agree, but on one condition. They must race me from a dig, on gravel, in the snow after we're done. They usualy pipe down after that

get some stoptech aero-rotors. they are really really light! (but only work on their big brake kits thus far)
get a mini battery
take the spare wheel out
take out the intercooler sprayer assembly
get a set of fixed back race buckets (about 15 pounds each)
get an O2 housing.. the stock one weights more then a brick.
i would imagine that aftermarket shocks and springs are considerably lighter then the stock stuff.
hopefully you are getting my point by now reducing weight is as effective as adding power, so warrtalon is wrong... you can make your car considerably faster without buying a bigger turbo.

The wheels and rotors will make the most difference as far as weight reduction because it is rotating weight. You not only have to propel that weight forward, you also need to spin it. The last thing I heard it was like 2 pounds for 1. Also helps braking more for the same reason. (You do want to stop that car, too!) Check out the Girodisc rotors that fit the stock calipers - on this site's home page.

Increase displacement to 2.4L, raise compression ratio, higher lift , short duration cams(Piper Rally), Reduce exhaust backpressure full TBE, ball-bearing turbo w/ light weight cartridge and low back pressure/high inertia exhaust side, something like an ESSEX TME or FQ-400 turbo, advanced ignition timing, higher numerical final drive ratio, nitrous injection, sticky R compound tires, heavy foot.

If you're talking about a 25 mph roll, sparky has it right...or slip your clutch a lot. If you have a higher speed in mind, keep your rpms over 5k where you will spool quickly.
