After the end of the MY production run. Usually sometime around August when the new models start to show up, and then afterwards until they are gone. You can prolly get a good deal on an 05 right now, if there are any left.

Always at the end of the month too...

This week, last week of december, because car dealers have monthly and annual quotas, and nobody is purchasing cars right now because everybody is broke. I bet you can get some killer deals on some cars on interest rates and such. Check out your dealers in the area.

I think you will also get a slightly better deal toward the end of the month. Dealerships try to get their volume up each month, and you may catch them at a time when they are trying to get what they need. You may also find a salesperson doing the same. May not be a great incentive, but every little bit helps.

Bought mine almost exactly a year ago and they were quite eager to have the sale count toward their '04 totals. Matched my credit union's APR and gap fee. It's gotta be slow right now...not many people getting 's for xmas. Not many people buying 's at all.

End of the month, but you won't save a huge amount.

Yeah, I'd also say January. When I was looking for a car in 10/04 I visited Mitsu and they were unwilling to budge on the price. Either MSRP or nothing. So I waited until end of Jan and got it at invoice no haggling whatsoever. I ended up buying mine on 1/29/05.
